Lebra Engineering & Design, LLC (“we”, “us”) operates lebraengineering.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have deliberately kept our website free of third-party advertising and analytics services — nothing on this site sends your browsing data to Google, Meta, or any advertising network.
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, telephone number, the property address and town, the type of work you need, and any description you provide. On some forms we also ask about approximate building size, building use, whether existing drawings are available, and your target timeline.
We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing.
To reduce fraudulent submissions, our forms send a verification code to the email address you provide. We record your IP address at the moment of submission for the same purpose.
Our website includes a chat assistant that answers questions about our services. It runs entirely on our own server and does not use any external artificial intelligence service. We record the text of questions asked, and which page they were asked from, so we can improve the answers. We do not record names, email addresses, or IP addresses alongside these questions. If you choose to leave your contact details through the assistant, those details are handled exactly as an enquiry form submission.
We operate our own visitor analytics on our own server. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar third-party service. When you visit, we record:
We use this to understand which pages are useful and where enquiries come from. Where an enquiry is submitted, we link it to that visit so we can see what the person was reading before they contacted us, which helps us respond usefully.
We set one cookie, lvt_sid, which contains a random identifier and lets us recognise a return visit to our own analytics. It lasts one year, is first-party, and contains no personal information. If you are logged in to our site as a staff member, WordPress sets additional cookies necessary for that session.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
We display Google reviews on our site. These are retrieved by our server from Google’s Places API and shown to you as ordinary page content — your browser does not contact Google to display them.
If we offer a document in exchange for an email address, we use that address to send you the document and to follow up about your project. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Visit analytics are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our professional record-keeping obligations as a licensed engineering firm.
Our website is hosted by a third-party provider, and enquiry notifications are delivered by email, so both necessarily process this information on our behalf. We do not otherwise disclose your information except where the law requires it.
Where a project requires a discipline we deliver alongside trusted professional partners, information necessary to prepare your proposal may be shared with them in confidence for that purpose alone.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@lebraengineering.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and our analytics honours the “Do Not Track” setting where your browser sends it.
Our services are directed at property owners, developers and contractors. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
